You’ve toured and fallen in love with our school — now it’s time for the next step!
Please complete the Application for Enrollment (linked below) and submit the $100 application fee.

MSWP operates on a continuing enrollment basis, and spaces are filled directly from our application pool. Placement decisions are based on several factors — including age and gender balance — to help ensure harmonious classroom communities and the best possible experience for each child.

Siblings of current students receive priority consideration.

Application & Waitpool Process

Families who apply to MSWP are placed into our waitpool for consideration for the upcoming school year. Applications are due by January 15th for each new enrollment cycle.

Applicants will be reviewed based on their desired start date indicated on the application. At times, we may reach out earlier if an opening becomes available and your child’s age, developmental stage, or classroom needs align with that space.

Each school year, we review our waitpool to identify applicable students who best fit current classroom openings based on age, gender balance, and program availability.

If space is not available at your desired start time, your child will remain in the waitpool for future openings or for consideration in the next school year.

Application Process at MSWP

Admissions Timeline

Application Window: October 15 – January 15

  • All applications must be submitted by January 15 to be considered for the upcoming school year

Parent Get To Know Meetings: January 15 – February 15

  • A brief 10-15 minute phone conversation.

  • This is an opportunity to connect, ask follow-up questions, and begin relationship-building.

Admissions Notifications: Late February

  • We align our notification dates with other local private schools.

Application Components

  • Application Fee: Per family; non-refundable.

  • Family Questionnaire: Included in the application.

Acceptance & Enrollment

Admissions decisions are emailed in February-March.

Families will receive one of the following decisions:

  1. Offer of Admission with instructions to complete enrollment and submit a deposit.

  2. Continue on our application pool with next steps and an anticipated timeline for updates.

Enrollment Deadlines

  • Accepted families typically have 3–5 business days to accept and submit the deposit.

  • If the deadline passes without confirmation, the seat may be offered to the next family on the waitlist.

Application Pool & Future Consideration

  • Families who wish to remain in our applicant pool for future enrollment may reconfirm interest at the start of each new school year so we can keep the waitlist accurate and up to date. Just email us and let us know.

After Enrollment Confirmation

Complete Required Paperwork

  • Submit Deposit and the enrollment packet (student & family information, state-required health forms, emergency contacts, permissions/agreements, etc.).

  • Upload any supporting documents requested in the packet by the due date.

Benchmark Check-In Meeting (Readiness Review)

  • MSWP will Schedule a brief check-in with our team to support a smooth start.

  • Topics may include toileting/potty training, walking toddler readiness, and other Montessori readiness trackers (independence with routines, concentration stamina, self-care, transitions).

  • If support is needed, we’ll collaborate on a plan prior to the start date.
