Shane Hickson

Executive Director

Shane has dedicated his career to Montessori education, serving as a Montessori Director and working with children from the toddler through elementary years. He holds an AMS Teaching Credential, a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a Master of Arts in Counseling, bringing a strong educational foundation and a deep understanding of child development to his work. He is passionate about the Montessori philosophy and is committed to nurturing each child's independence, confidence, and lifelong love of learning.

Born and raised in Washington State, Shane moved to California to attend San Diego State University, where he began the path that led to his career in education. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys staying active through mountain biking, soccer, and yoga. Having recently relocated to Colorado, he is excited to explore his new home and become part of the local community while continuing to support children and families through Montessori education.
